Brrrrr....... its getting colder for each day, the only good thing about it is
1) it's really cozy to cuttle up before the fireplace....
2) the snow will soon make it less cold

Summertime!

What is more perfect, than summer in Norway, when the weather is nice?  Nothing, I would say! We are sooo happy these days, cause we took over our new house last week, and hopefully we can move in there at the end of next week.  (before that we just need to paint, paint, paint, and then paint some more....).

Hopefully we will have some pictures of the new "Damm-Larsen recsidence" to show you shortly.

HARD TO FIND TIME.....

I am so embarrassed that this blog has been totally  forgotten for about a month now.  I guess that's what happens when it's not something I am used to do.  But I promise - I will try harder!!!  Since last time, we have celebrated the Synne and Inges birthday. I had a girls trip to New York, and last Monday we celebrated 17th of May (The Norwegian National day).

Summer is finally here (lets hope!), it's soooo nice to put on some short sleeves, and walk outside barefoot;)  In a few weeks we will go on a holiday trip to Mallorca, so it had been nice to get use to the sun before that!

Birthday weekend

This week we have celebreted the 60th birtday to my stepdad.  Saturday we had a family dinner

and Sunday poeople came over for some Coffe and Cake (funny Norwegian tradition).  We all had a great time, and I am sure the birthday"boy" did too.
The youngest member of our family, my nephew Herman was of course present, and I got to spend some "bonding-time" with him :)

MY BACK IS HURTING.....................

One of the reasons I all of a sudden had time to start learning how to make a personal blog, was that I last week had another prolaps in my back....Last week was aweful, I was in great pain and since it was Easter, I had to see my family leave (without me), to go on Easter break.

But, with  great amount of pain killers, and 11 days on the sofa, I am now feeling a lot better, and hope to go back to work next week.

So, if anyone (if there is anyone that has interest of reading this blog...), has helpful ideas on how to get back on track, PLEASE send me some suggestions.  At point, I am open for (almost) everything.

 I am proud to announce our wery first blog!!  I have for years now appreciated friends blogging about their day to day happenings, and I love how this gives me a posibility to follow what's going on in their lives around the world!

I hope some of you out there will feel the same about my blog.  With 2 girls in the house our days are filled with so much fun and joy (and some frustrating moments...we do have 2 girls), so I am pretty sure I will have something to write about from time to time.
